About Us

The Research Group of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering of the University of Brescia, coordinated by prof. Carlo Collivignarelli, is focused on both university teaching, with many courses, and scientific research, with significant results at national and international level. The Group conducts research on following topics: sewage treatment, industrial wastewater and liquid waste treatment, recovery and disposal of municipal and industrial solid waste, remediation of contaminated sites and drinking water treatment.

Research Group also established a Working Group of "Treatment Plant Management", involving more than 150 managers and sector experts, and CeTAmb (Research Centre on Appropriate Technologies for Environmental Management in Developing Countries).
