Curriculum Vitae

Position:                         Assistant Professor of Scienza delle Costruzioni  at the University of Brescia (Italy), Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Land and Environment (DICATA), since 1992. She previously worked as a structural engineer at Tecnomare S.p.A and Ismes S.p.A.

Degree:                          In 1984 she graduated cum laude in Civil Engineering at the University of Padua.

Teaching experience:    She has being teaching Dinamica delle strutture since A.Y. 1997-98 up to now. She taught Scienza delle costruzioni at the University of Bergamo in 1998-99. Teaching assistant: presently for the Elementi Finiti course, in the past for Scienza delle Costruzioni II, Costruzioni in zona sismica, Scienza delle Costruzioni, Fondamenti di Statica.

Research activity          Mainly in the field of the Dynamics of Structures, with particular attention to the theoretical and  numerical study of problems such as the formation of proper viscous damping matrices for non homogeneous structural systems, the formulation of iterative solvers for frequency domain analyses, the FE modelling of seismic isolators, the chaotic behaviour of plates subject to impact loading, the FE modelling of tethering systems in the seismic analysis of submerged floating tunnels, the formulation of iterative procedures to study vehicle-bridge dynamic interaction.
